Texans Move On From Chris Conley
2 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Chris Conley was released by the organization on Tuesday. He re-signed with the team in March, but apparently didn't show enough to warrant keeping on the roster. Now, the Texans only have four active wide receivers on their roster as they head into Week 1. Possibly, the team decides to bring back Conley after they make some other moves. Last season, Conley finished with 22 receptions, 323 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in 16 games (10 starts) with the Texans. He'll likely be scooped up pretty fast, assuming the Texans don't plan on bringing him back. There isn't much weekly fantasy value in Conley, but he's a nice depth option at wideout.
