Buccaneers Place Ryan Jensen On Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed center Ryan Jensen (knee) on Injured Reserve, guaranteeing he'll miss at least the first four games. The team decided to put him on IR instead of the Physically Unable to Perform list in case the 31-year-old is able to return to action later in the season. This is a big blow considering their offensive line has already suffered multiple injuries leading into the season. The expectation is that third-round pick Robert Hainsey will fill in as his replacement. These injuries will directly impact quarterback Tom Brady and lead back Leonard Fournette, who could struggle to find the same level of success they have previously. The number of injuries to their offensive line warrant fading these two players a few spots in your draft and instead considering other similarly talented options.
