N'Keal Harry Lands On Injured Reserve
2 years agoThe Chicago Bears placed wide receiver N'Keal Harry (ankle) on Injured Reserve on Thursday. Harry will miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season, but the ankle injury he suffered in early August was expected to keep him out for around eight weeks. Harry was a first-round bust in his three seasons with the New England Patriots, catching 57 passes for 598 yards and four touchdowns on 103 targets in 33 games (18 starts). Moving to Chicago gave him a better chance at a substantial role in a weak receiver depth chart, but he'll need to get healthy again before he can prove himself. The Bears will open with Darnell Mooney as their unquestioned No. 1 pass-catcher, followed by Equanimeous St. Brown, Byron Pringle, rookie Velus Jones Jr. and Dante Pettis.
