Hunter Greene Throws Two Scoreless Innings In Rehab Start
2 years agoCincinnati Reds pitcher Hunter Greene (shoulder) allowed one hit while striking out four over two scoreless innings in Thursday's rehab start with Triple-A Louisville. He has been sidelined since August 1 with a strained right shoulder and is expected to make two more rehab starts. Barring any setbacks, the 23-year-old could return to the Red rotation by next weekend. He owns a 4-12 with a 5.26 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 127:41 K: BB across 102 2/3 innings in 2022. Greene had pitched well before the injury, posting a 2.70 ERA over his 23 1/3 innings. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Greene as he could make a few starts before the end of the regular season.
