Carlos Carrasco Could Start Sunday Against Nationals
2 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Carlos Carrasco (oblique) will return from the injured list to start Sunday against the Washington Nationals. He threw a bullpen session and simulated game last week but will return to action without a rehab outing. The 35-year-old could be on a pitch count in his first start back. He owns a 3.92 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, and a 124:33 K: BB across 126 1/3 innings in 2022. The veteran right-hander is expected to replace David Peterson in the starting rotation. Fantasy managers can stream Carrasco in most league formats in a plus matchup against the Nationals on Sunday.
