2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers skipper Craig Counsell said that outfielder Christian Yelich (neck) is day-to-day after leaving the game early on Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks with neck discomfort. "He just irritated his neck on one of the swings in that second at-bat. We're day-to-day. I think there's a chance he misses a couple of days but I wouldn't worry about it past that," Counsell said. Fantasy managers should prepare to be without Yelich for a few days, but it doesn't appear to be a long-term issue. Yelich went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before departing and is now hitting .259/.360/.387 on the season with 11 home runs, 45 RBI, 83 runs scored and 16 stolen bases. He finished the month of August hitting .255 (26-for-102) with three homers, 10 RBI, 18 runs scored and two stolen bases.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
