Van Jefferson "Making Good Progress"
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) is "making good progress" as he rehabs from knee surgery during training camp. McVay said the team is "taking it a day at a time" with Jefferson and his availability for the Week 1 season opener next Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills. Fantasy managers will have a better idea on whether Jefferson will be available for Week 1 when the Rams release their practice reports early next week. For what it's worth, the 26-year-old wideout didn't practice on Friday. If he isn't active or limited at all, Ben Skowronek and Tutu Atwell would have bigger roles behind Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson II. Because of his injury, Jefferson isn't a lock to be drafted in 12-team leagues.
