Brandon Drury Remains Sidelined With A Head Contusion
2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Brandon Drury (head) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. According to Padres manager Bob Melvin, Drury sustained a "little head contusion" during Friday's game against the Dodgers. The 30-year-old will miss at least one game and remains day-to-day. Since being traded to the Padres, Drury is hitting .220 with five home runs, 20 RBI, and 15 runs over 27 games. Josh Bell will start at first base, while Jurickson Profar will serve as the team's designated hitter on Saturday.
