2 years agoKyle Busch and his Joe Gibbs Racing car turned in a nice qualifying performance on Saturday. As a result, his No. 18 starts fifth for the Cook Out Southern 500. Busch led 19 laps of the Spring race before an accident ended his race. He had been in the top-five after Stage 1. Before two previous DNF's, Busch had recorded a third, seventh, and second place result. There is little doubt that the Toyota's are fast. It comes down to that late speed.
