2 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys are working towards a deal for former Philadelphia Eagles star and future Hall of Fame offensive tackle Jason Peters after a successful visit this past week, according to sources. Nothing is done, but there is mutual interest on both sides, and Peters could land with the Cowboys by Monday. The Cowboys are going to be without All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith (hamstring, knee) until sometime in December due to a serious injury, and signing Peters would allow rookie first-rounder Tyler Smith a little more time to develop before being thrown into the fire immediately. Peters, a nine-time Pro Bowler started 15 games for the Chicago Bears at left tackle in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
