Buccaneers Not Worried About Tom Brady
2 years agoThe internal concern over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line issues, quarterback Tom Brady's training camp absence, the changes on the coaching staff, etc., don't match the external concern, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano. Tampa thinks Brady is in the right frame of mind to open the season and that the guys lining up in front of him in Week 1 are good enough to keep him protected. If receiver Chris Godwin (knee) also comes back early in the year, Brady should continue to put up big numbers, and Graziano doesn't think it would be a stretch for the GOAT to throw for 5,000 yards again. The 45-year-old had a career year in 2021 in his second season in Tampa, and he also has veteran All-Pro Julio Jones as a new weapon this year. Brady isn't a high-end QB1 in fantasy, but he should suffice as a low-end QB1.
