2 years agoAtlantaFalcons.com's Scott Bair believes that Atlanta Falcons running back Damien Williams will factor heavily into the running game this year, and he also thinks that rookie Tyler Allgeier will play a significant role in his first NFL season. Cordarrelle Patterson, who was a pleasant surprise as one of the team's best offensive players in 2021, has been on his own ramp-up plan, and Bair wonders how much Patterson takes conventional running back carries this year. He hasn't been used a ton in practices open to the media, so it remains to be seen how he'll be used in 2022. If the Falcons move Patterson around more, Williams could see some valuable early down touches.
