2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Byron Pringle (quadriceps) took part in practice on Monday for the first time in a long time. It was the first time that Pringle had practiced with the team since he suffered his quad injury on Aug. 6. The fact that he's practicing already this week is a good sign that he'll be able to play in Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday, but we won't know for sure until the Bears release their official injury reports later this week. When fully healthy, the 28-year-old should open the year as the team's No. 2 receiver behind Darnell Mooney. Tight end Cole Kmet might end up being quarterback Justin Fields' No. 2 target in this passing attack, though, so Pringle won't be a viable flex option in 12-team leagues to begin the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
