2 years agoThe New England Patriots signed free-agent wide receiver Laquon Treadwell to their practice squad on Monday, according to a source. Treadwell finished with 434 receiving yards and a touchdown on 51 receptions over 12 games (seven starts) for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. The former first-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2016 out of Mississippi has recorded 104 receptions (165 targets) for 1,184 yards and five touchdowns in 70 games (23 starts) over his six NFL seasons with the Vikings, Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. The 27-year-old will serve as depth for the Patriots at the position behind DeVante Parker, Jakobie Meyers, Kendrick Bourne, Nelson Agholor and special teams ace Matthew Slater.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
