2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts signed running back Phillip Lindsay to their practice squad on Tuesday. Lindsay was released by the team on roster cutdown day a week ago, but he'll return to the team as depth at the running back position. Jonathan Taylor will be the primary lead back yet again, with Nyheim Hines working in mostly a pass-catching role behind him. Deon Jackson is currently the team's No. 3 RB. Lindsay went undrafted in 2018 but then made the Pro Bowl in his rookie season with the Denver Broncos, when he rushed for 1,037 yards and nine touchdowns on 192 carries. He also had a 1,000-yard rushing season the following year, but since then he's quickly fallen off and spent the 2021 season with the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
