Kolten Wong Day-To-Day With Knee Soreness
2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Kolten Wong (knee) was removed from Tuesday's game against the Colorado Rockies with general knee soreness. He went 0-for-3 with a strikeout before exiting in the sixth inning in Tuesday's loss. The 31-year-old is considered day-to-day. He has been solid this season, slashing .247/.333/.418 with 11 home runs, 37 RBI, 56 runs and 11 stolen bases across 420 plate appearances in 112 games. Wong is expected to be out of the lineup Wednesday, with Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland scheduled to pitch. Jace Peterson would see an uptick in playing time if Wong is forced to miss any further games.
