2 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (hamstring) was diagnosed with left hamstring discomfort after exiting Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. He sustained the hamstring injury trying to beat out a double-play ground ball during the second inning. He went 0-for-1 with an RBI before exiting. Gurriel is considered day-to-day, with his next chance to return to the lineup will be Friday against the Texas Rangers. Whit Merrifield and Bradley Zimmer would see an uptick in playing time if Gurriel is forced to miss any games.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
