James Cook Is Not An Ideal Option For Week 1
2 years agoBuffalo Bills running back James Cook is going to get his first taste of NFL action during Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. The second-round pick played fairly well during training camp and in the preseason. Despite that, the Bills aren't expected to rush things with their young back. Devin Singletary should remain the lead back with Cook and Zack Moss getting touches as well. That being said, Cook doesn't figure to get many opportunities during his first game. It's also worth noting that the Rams were top-10 last season when it came to stopping the run. Cook certainly has some stash appeal and is worth holding in dynasty leagues. He isn't likely to make a significant impact right out of the gate.
