2 years agoDallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) "looks really good" physically. McCarthy said the team would also consider playing Gallup in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday night "if he practices today." Gallup has already ruled himself out for the season opener, and it would go against the team's plan all along, so fantasy managers shouldn't get their hopes up. The 26-year-old did individual drills on Wednesday and has made great progress from a torn ACL suffered in January. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere in Week 1, but Gallup could return as early as Week 2 or 3 as the team's No. 2 wideout behind CeeDee Lamb.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
