Terry McLaurin A Solid WR2 For Week 1
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is locked in to lead the team's receiving game for Week 1. The fourth-year pro is set to face a Jacksonville Jaguars pass defense that was middle of the pack in 2021. With his new passer, Carson Wentz, a new level for McLaurin could be unlocked as he's been continuously hampered throughout his career by poor quarterback play. Washington ranked near the bottom of the league in pass defense last season, so there is the possibility that their offense could be playing catch-up on Sunday. If Jacksonville's offense can take advantage, a heavier receiving load may be on the way for the former Buckeye as the Commanders would play in a negative game script. Start McLaurin as a WR2 with WR1 upside in Week 1.
