2 years agoThe Cleveland Browns defense opens the 2022 season with a road game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1. Cleveland's defense will take on a familiar face as former Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield will be under center for Carolina. The Panthers were a very favorable matchup for fantasy defenses in 2021, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game. That being said, the Panthers' offense should be improved in 2022 with Mayfield representing a significant upgrade at quarterback over Sam Darnold and a healthy Christian McCaffrey at running back.
