2 years agoBuffalo Bills rookie wide receiver Khalil Shakir is listed as a healthy inactive for Week 1 of the regular season on Thursday night against the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. The Bills like their fifth-round pass-catcher a lot, but Buffalo is also notorious for bringing their rookies along slowly, so Shakir will have to wait to make his NFL debut in 2022. Barring an injury or two, it's hard to see the 22-year-old making a significant impact in his first NFL season, as he's currently buried on the depth chart behind Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, Jamison Crowder and Jake Kumerow.
