2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel begins the season with a favorable matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Niners are 7 point favorites, who are implied to score around 24 points, against a Bears team that is expected to be one of the worst in the league. The Bears allowed the seventh most fantasy points per game (standard scoring) to WRs last season. Samuel was one of the pass catchers to exploit them. He caught six passes against the Bears in Week 7 of 2021 for 171 yards. That was when Jimmy Garoppolo was throwing him the ball. Now with Lance behind center, the only concern is whether Lance can captain the offense and deliver passes on target.
