Duane Brown Ruled Out For Week 1
2 years agoNew York Jets offensive tackle Duane Brown (shoulder) has been ruled out for the Week 1 regular season opener this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens due to a shoulder injury. The Jets aren't ruling out the idea that he will ultimately have to go on Injured Reserve. Gang Green's offensive line will now be without two of their starting tackles to kick off the 2022 regular season, on top of the fact that veteran backup quarterback Joe Flacco is getting the start under center. The Ravens defense is licking their chops, and they'll be a popular streaming choice for fantasy managers in Week 1. If Brown is placed on IR, he'd be forced to miss at least the first four games of the season. George Fant is expected to start at left tackle, with Max Mitchell on the right side.
