2 years agoDetroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams doesn't warrant consideration in shallow leagues, but for fantasy managers in a pinch at flex in deep leagues, he might be a solid option. D'Andre Swift is expected to be the lead back in the Lions offense, with Williams potentially getting some work in the red zone. His PPR upside is capped by a lack of a receiver role, but he might be a touchdown vulture to Swift. Don't expect a huge day from Williams as a touchdown-dependent running back, but again, he's a fine deep-league flex play for those in desperation.
