2 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones heads to Minnesota to open the regular season. The sixth-year back could be in for a significant workload with wide receiver Allen Lazard (ankle) officially doubtful for Sunday's game. Jones was targeted 65 times in 2021 and was one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers' favorite targets down the stretch last season. While AJ Dillon will get his fair share of carries, Jones averaged 14.8 touches per game in 2021 and could increase that amount if he is more involved in the passing game. Minnesota allowed the 10th-most points per game to the running back position last season and struggled to keep pass-catching backs out of the endzone. They gave up five receiving touchdowns to opposing backs, tied for the fourth-most in the league. Jones is a strong RB1 for fantasy managers heading into Week 1.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller
