Rhamondre Stevenson Week 1 Outlook For Fantasy Football
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson was a very popular sleeper in 2022 fantasy drafts. He is in line to share early-down work in the team's backfield with Damien Harris. According to head coach Bill Belichick, "looking at all three downs" and the team "has to plan accordingly for that." It's a notable change from the team's second preseason game, and it's a contrast to the "third-down backs" the Patriots have traditionally employed. The 24-year-old could see more work on passing downs with Ty Montgomery (ankle) questionable for Week 1 against the Dolphins. The Patriots will look for creative ways to get Stevenson the ball with James White retired. Miami is in the middle of the pack against the run and finished 17th in rush DVOA last season. Stevenson will be more involved in the passing game and should have decent volume in Week 1, making him a borderline RB2
