2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller and the team are "closing in" on a contract extension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Waller has two years remaining on his current deal but is looking to be compensated for his increased productivity over the years. The 29-year-old is coming off a down season, finishing the 2021 campaign by accumulating only 665 yards and two touchdowns off 55 catches (93 targets) in 11 games. However, if Waller stays healthy, he could easily reestablish himself as one of the most productive fantasy tight ends out there, even with Davante Adams in the picture.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
