Ronnie Stanley Downgraded To Out For Week 1
2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens downgraded left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) from doubtful to out for the Week 1 regular season opener on Sunday against the New York Jets. Stanley put in two limited practices this week, but it wasn't enough for him to gain clearance to play this weekend after coming off season-ending ankle surgery last season. The 28-year-old All-Pro left tackle will be a big loss for the Ravens offensive line for the start of the season, but fantasy managers should still be treating dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson as a top-five option at the position against the Jets. With Stanley sidelined, Ja'Juan James is expected to start on Jackson's blind side Sunday.
