2 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Max Fried saw his record fall to 13-6 on Saturday as his club was defeated by the Mariners 3-1. The lefty allowed two runs on five hits over six frames of work, striking out six and walking no one in the 85-pitch effort. The damage came off a pair of solo homers that came in the fifth and sixth innings, but he was otherwise sharp as he's yet to allow more than two runs in a game since July 25. Fried will take an outstanding 2.50 ERA and 1.01 WHIP into his next scheduled contest versus Phillies at home.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
