2 years agoNew York Jets rookie tight end Jeremy Ruckert and wide receiver Denzel Mims are healthy scratches for Week 1 of the regular season against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. Ruckert, a third-round pick this year out of Ohio State, has a bright future, but he's currently buried on the tight end depth chart in New York behind newcomers C.J. Uzomah and Tyler Conklin. Conklin is slightly more attractive in fantasy to begin the season, but Uzomah's presence makes it hard to recommend Conklin as anything more than a desperation low-end TE2. Mims was a trade candidate this summer, but he remains in New York and is buried on the receiver depth chart behind Elijah Moore, Corey Davis, rookie first-rounder Garrett Wilson and Braxton Berrios.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
