The Carson Wentz Experience On Full Display In Week 1
2 years agoWashington Commanders quarterback Carson Wentz went 27-for-41 for 313 yards along with four touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's win versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. During his regular season debut, the former second overall pick put fans through a rollercoaster of emotions. Wentz started solid but managed to throw back-to-back interceptions at the beginning of the fourth quarter. After that disappointment, he threw long touchdowns on Washington's next two drives. The Wentz experience is not for the faint of heart, but it can pay dividends for fantasy football as the 29-year-old finished as one of the highest-scoring quarterbacks in Week 1. Coming out of this win, Carson Wentz could be in for another splash performance next week against a Detroit Lions defense that just allowed 38 points to the Philadelphia Eagles.
