Curtis Samuel Leads Commanders In Receptions
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught eight out of 11 targets for 55 yards and a touchdown, along with four rushes for 17 yards in Sunday's win versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 26-year-old had a strong performance as he showed his skillset as a receiver and runner. Coming off of a season where he rarely saw the field due to injury, it was nice to see the former Panther thrive in his first real action in some time. Samuel should be a popular waiver claim heading into Week 2, as his usage looked very promising. The former Carolina Panther can be used as a flex in deep-league formats in a plus matchup against the Detroit Lions in Week 2.
