Khalil Herbert Punches In Touchdown
2 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert racked up nine carries for 45 yards with one rushing touchdown in the Bears come-from-behind win over the 49ers. The playing conditions were not ideal as rain pounded the field but it did not affect the second-year running back. When Herbert was given touches, he looked fast and elusive while starter David Montgomery struggled mightily. Herbert's production earned him a touch in the red zone and the shifty runner made a nice cut to find the end zone for his first score of the season. Herbert is not ready to start in standard formats but could be in line for 10-plus touches next week against the Packers in Week 2.
