2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) will have an MRI exam on his hamstring on Monday after being ruled out of the Week 1 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the first half, according to a source. With the Chargers playing on Thursday night in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs, it makes sense for Allen to rest up. However, Monday's tests will reveal the full extent of the injury and whether he'll actually have a chance to play on a short turnaround. Fantasy managers should already be planning for Allen to be unavailable in Week 2, but hopefully he'll be able to play as early as Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Allen is inactive in Week 2, both Joshua Palmer and DeAndre Carter, who caught three passes for 64 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Raiders, will be more attractive as deep-league flex plays in what could easily become a high-scoring game against KC.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
