2 years agoCleveland Guardians infielder Andres Gimenez isn't in the team's starting lineup on Tuesday for a matchup with the Los Angeles Angels and left-handed starter Jose Suarez. Gimenez is batting .297 with a .368 on-base percentage, 16 home runs, and 18 stolen bases in 477 plate appearances for Cleveland this year. He'll head to the bench on Tuesday with Tyler Freeman starting at second base and batting seventh against Suarez and the Angels. Freeman has logged 60 plate appearances for Cleveland this season, batting .245 with a .317 on-base percentage and a stolen base.
