2 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley (head) left Game 1 of a doubleheader early on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Pirates when he was hit in the head by a fastball from Manny Banuelos. Fraley was down on the ground for a bit before he was able to get up and walk off the field under his owner power. The 27-year-old left-handed hitter will likely be put through the league's concussion protocol and is unlikely to be in the starting lineup for Game 2. Fraley went 0-for-2 with a walk before leaving the game and was replaced by Stuart Fairchild. Coming into Tuesday's doubleheader, Fraley was hitting .248/.341/.484 with an .825 OPS, 10 home runs, 23 RBI, 30 runs scored and three stolen bases in 52 games for Cincy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
