Michael Gallup Could Do Team Drills This Week
2 years agoDallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup (knee) will be integrated into more practice work on Wednesday and "might do some group stuff" after only participating in individual drills last week, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. It will be the first team repetitions for Gallup since January before he tore his ACL. The 26-year-old was inactive in the Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he's not a lock to return in Week 2 to face the Cincinnati Bengals, but he's getting really close. Dallas could really use an offensive boost after quarterback Dak Prescott fractured his right thumb. Gallup is nearing a return, but his fantasy value also took a hit with Prescott set to miss at least multiple weeks. When healthy, Gallup is expected to be the No. 2 receiver behind CeeDee Lamb.
