NBA Fantasy Shopper: DFS Lineup Picks for DraftStreet

Stephen Curry 2PG: Stephen Curry ($19,822): On a night with just a handful of games, it is important to have the top player of the night, regardless of the price.  Curry is always a fantasy stud, but he's coming off of a 44-point performance against Utah and is averaging a crazy 24.5 points, 9 assists and 4.5 rebounds a game.  The Bobcats have been one of the better defensive teams in the league this year, but Curry should be able to abuse backup guard Ramon Sessions in this game.  It should also help that this is a late game on the West Coast, which is a long trip for Charlotte.

SG: Kevin Martin ($10,815): Martin has slowed down since a blistering start with the Timberwolves, but still has maintained a scoring average of 19.1 on the season.  He does most of his damage from deep as he makes 1.8 threes a game, and tonight’s matchup with the Lakers should only help that.  The Lakers are in the bottom five of team defense, and while the return of Steve Blake, Steve Nash and Jordan Farmar is nice, it makes their terrible defense even worse than normal.  Martin struggled to just 14 points in his last meeting against the Lakers; don’t be surprised if he doubles that tonight.

SF: Ryan Kelly ($8,315): In a short time, Kelly has gone from little-used bench player to starting for the Lakers.  Over the past two weeks he's averaging 28.7 minutes a game, and in that time he's posted 11.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists a game.  Those numbers will not "wow" you, but considering that Los Angeles will be without Pau Gasolthose numbers could take another jump.  In a game which should easily go well over 200 points, Kelly should provide solid value for a low price.

PF: David Lee ($14,140): Despite battling through a shoulder injury, Lee has maintained his fantasy value over the past few weeks.  He has continued to be a double-double machine, posting three of those in the past six games, including a 22-point, 11-rebound and 4-assist outing in his last game against the Clippers.  Tonight he plays a Jazz frontline that last night allowed Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas to combine for 29 points and 19 rebounds.  Look for Lee to match those numbers himself tonight in a juicy matchup.

C: Ronny Turiaf ($7,233): Another cheap option tonight, Turiaf has been a solid fill-in for the injured Nikola Pekovic.  In his four games without Pekovic, Turiaf has put up at least seven rebounds in each game, while also blocking a combined nine shots.  Although he only has one game in double-figure scoring, his ability to rebound and block shots make getting his value quite easy.  In his matchup tonight he faces a front line of Jordan Hill, Ryan Kelly and Chris Kaman; basically nothing to worry about for the Minnesota big man.  A double-double is not out of the question, meaning he will blow out his low price tonight.
