On a busy night in the NBA we take an abbreviated look at a few good plays in tonight’s Draftstreet salary cap game.
NBA Fantasy Shopper: DFS Lineup Picks for DraftStreet 3/12
PG: Isaiah Thomas ($13,881): Thomas is the lead playmaker for Sacramento, Sacramento plays Philadelphia tonight. Do we need to say any more? Great player for a great price tonight.
SG: DeMar DeRozan ($14,260): The Raptors leading scorer has continued to be hot of late with 24+ points in five of his last seven games, including three over 30. DeRozan should be able to abuse Kyle Singler tonight on the offensive end.
SF: Gerald Green ($13,061): Over the past week of action, Green is 7th in the NBA in scoring at 24.8 a game. He is also grabbing 5.5 rebounds a game, look for that to continue against a Cavs team that struggles against opposing wings.
PF: Derrick Favors ($11,696): Favors is always a bust candidate as he has sporadic lulls in play, however he is coming off of back to back games of 29 points, 23 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks. Those numbers should continue tonight against a Mavericks team that struggles on defense and rebounding.
C: Chris Bosh ($12,542): With Kevin Garnett missing in action and Dwyane Wade possibly sitting out, Bosh should be in for an expanded role against a weak Nets defense. His price continues to drop and now is the time to take advantage.
U: Mason Plumlee ($7,558): Speaking of the Nets, Plumlee will likely draw another start against a poor rebounding team in the Heat. He won’t wow you, but if he can post a 10 point and 8 rebound type of night he can still cover his low value nicely.
