BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: Melky Cabrera is not one of the names that automatically jumps out at you when you are drafting, but somehow he always finds his way on to some fantasy team in your league. Why? It is because he is an undervalued source of a little of everything. He has had his issues since the All-Star break of 2012 when he earned a 50 game ban for PED use, but the Melk Man is only 29, he claims to be in the best shape of his life. He is playing in a solid lineup, and is in a contract year so expect a little boost in all categories. I wouldn't be shocked to see his numbers hovering around .290 BA, 150 H, 15 HR, 75 RBI, and 15 SB by the end of the year. There will be much worse options this season off the waiver wire, and for my money I bet the Melk Man delivers for your fantasy teams - especially if you're in a deeper league or AL-Only format!
