BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Peralta's ownership was steadily rising for a few weeks and it now sits at 44%. His most recent start, arguably his worst of the year, still saw him go 7 IP with a 6:1 K:BB ratio, while allowing 8 hits and 3 ER. Still a quality start. If that was Peralta's worst start of the year, it should give you a pretty good idea of how good the young hurler has been. With a 55% ground ball rate, a 3.57 K:BB ratio, and a fastball that regularly sits at 95 MPH, it's no wonder Peralta is seeing some major success this year. He was the Brewers top pitching prospect for a couple of years, and he's finally putting things together. It might only take one or two more solid starts to make Peralta an "add immediately" recommendation on this waiver wire pickups list, so watch his next outings carefully.
