BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues

ANALYSIS: Tanner Roark, a second year player for the Washington Nationals, is off to a great start in 2014 and is one of those SP sleepers to consider off the waiver wire in deeper formats. He is 2-0 with a 2.76 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He is coming off his first complete game shutout of his career, allowing only 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8 against the Padres. He is the 4th starter in a great rotation (moving to 5th when Fister returns from DL), with a good offense behind him. This is not coming out of nowhere, as Roark finished 7-1 with a 1.51 ERA and .91 WHIP in 2013. He does not have overpowering stuff but locates his fastball and keeps hitters off balance with his off speed. By commanding his pitches in the zone, Roark can dictate the game. Again, he is at the back end of a great rotation, so anything that he can give the Nationals is an added bonus. Look for Roark to continue to have success in 2014.
