BALLER MOVE: Continue Scouting
ANALYSIS: These are Miley's ER splits this season: 3, 4, 2, 5, 1, 3, 7, 3, 2 and 4. He hasn't pitched past the seventh inning and he has yet to let less than four baserunners via walks and/or hits per outing. He's tied for second with 10 HR allowed and hitters have the most RBI against him with 36. If there is some good from Miley this year, it's that he's a drastically different pitcher on the road. His 7.14 ERA at home falls to a 3.00 ERA on the road, but he is still displaying a loss of control with a 3.00 BB/9 innings rate when away from Chase Field. The best case scenario for Miley is for fantasy owners to stream him on the road when presented a favorable matchup, but even that involves a great deal of risk considering his lack of control and probable drops in WHIP and ERA to fantasy teams. Your best bet is to continue scouting the waiver wire as Miley has definitely regressed from the last two seasons.
