BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues & AL-Only Leagues
ANALYSIS: After a promising 2012 season with 20 HR and 73 RBI, Mike Moustakas, or "Moose" as many like to call him, has disappointed Royals fans and fantasy managers alike this season. That may soon change though, as he's on a nice tear and could catch fire with how blazing hot the Royals currently are. Since coming back into the majors on June 1st, Moose has raised his average from a lowly .148, to a still lowly .171 AVG, but it will take some more time to recover his stats from such a horrid start to the season. He's gotten a hit in 13 of his 18 games since rejoining the Royals, with 9 RBI in that time and 3 HR in his last eight games. Moustakas is currently only owned in 16% of Yahoo leagues, so if you are stuck at third base, need some power upside, and can tolerate the BA drag, Moose may be worth a flier. He's also a viable option in all 14+ team leagues, and should be owned across the board in AL-Only leagues.
