BALLER MOVE: Add in Very Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Andre Ethier has been a major first half player for the past eight seasons who totally drops off at the All-Star break. That has not been the case this season, as he has been awful so far and has only just started to make some gains in the end of June and beginning of July. Ethier was part of a crowded outfield where the Dodgers manager Don Mattingly showed too much confidence in him to the detriment of younger ballplayers (Van Slyke, Joc Pederson), but I honestly think a change of scenery is much needed here. Based on his history which is well documented I know Ethier is capable of a 2-3 week stretch where he can carry his team and your team. He may just be starting to do that now - he has 10 hits over his last 23 ABs during 6 starts, with a HR, 7 RBIs and 4 Runs. If he continues playing like he isn't in a coma, I would advise you to pick up Ethier in the near future if you need BA and RBIs production. There have been a few signs of life and this may be the start of a hot streak.
