BALLER MOVE: Add Immediately
ANALYSIS: The closer carousel continues as Joakim Soria has been shipped to the Tigers to either close or setup for incumbent Joe Nathan, opening a spot at the backend of the Texas Rangers bullpen. Enter Neftali Feliz, who should walk right into that open spot and run with it all the way to the end of the season. Feliz had been recovering from TJS for a while in 2014, and then toiled in Triple-A for a while, putting up a 3.14 ERA over 28 2/3 IP with a 9.73 K/9 and 2.51 BB/9, borderline elite ratios for a closer. So far in 10.1 IP since returning to the bigs, Feliz only has 4 punchouts, which is slightly worrying in that he's not missing bats the way he used to. However considering he was dominating hitters in Triple-A and had 72 saves in 2010-2011, we feel confident that Feliz regains his form and puts up top-10 closer numbers the rest of the way. Add him immediately, if not sooner!
