BALLER MOVE: Target ~165 (Current ADP: 213, TE: 25)
ANALYSIS: The New England Patriots recently completed a surprise trade by trading six-time Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins for Tim Wright and a 4th round draft pick. Speculation on Rob Gronkowski's health abounds, but currently his health report is that he's 'in a good spot' to start week one.
So why would the Patriots make this trade? One possible reason is they're looking for an Aaron Hernandez replacement. Last season Wright burst onto the fantasy football scene as a waiver wire pickup and showed fantastic flashes of dominance (5 TDs, 571 yards) in his rookie season. We all know that the Patriots built the blueprint for 2 TEs, so it's possible they want to bring that back this season. Keep in mind Wright will need to learn the offense so don't assume he'll be posting Hernandez type numbers right away, or at all for that matter. Target Wright in the late rounds or place him on your watch list, as he has plenty of sleeper appeal and could be a nice flex spot gem in deep leagues.
