BALLER MOVE: Target ~74 (Current ADP: 83, TE:9)
ANALYSIS: First let's get the obvious out of the way, the new Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Norv Turner has a track record of highlighting TE's in his offense, including Antonio Gates and Jordan Cameron. At Minnesota he will continue this trend and add Kyle Rudolph to his resume and highlight him all season. It's clear the Vikings expect good things from Rudolph as they signed him to a 5yr $36.5 million dollar extension this offseason. Outside of those facts, Rudolph last season battled the injury bug which impacted his performance (313 yards, 3 TDs) and ultimately his fantasy owners (decline in performance from previous season). This year Rudolph looks healthy and ready to use his size (6'6" 259 lbs) to his advantage. Turner's offenses over the course of his career have targeted TE's 5.9 times a game, I expect that and more this season for Rudolph. If you are in either a standard or PPR league Rudolph is a solid TE1 and could very well be close to the top 5 TEs for 2014.
