BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep NL-Only Leagues / Keeper and Dynasty Leagues
ANALYSIS: Joc Pederson is not in a great spot right now, given the depth of the Dodgers' outfield, but his talent combined with the struggles of some of the outfielders on the Dodgers could lead to Pederson grabbing some at-bats down the stretch. A five-tool player, Pederson doesn't excel in any one particular category, but he can do anything that is needed of him and is the most recent addition to our waiver wire sleepers list.
He has improved his power, smacking 33 longballs in 445 at-bats this year in the minors, and stole 30 bases to go along with it. His .435 OBP is also the highest of his five-year minor league career. For the last couple of weeks of the fantasy season, Pederson is a deep NL-Only option for owners looking for a potential spark. Owners in all keeper and dynasty leagues should jump on the chance to snag the young lefty if he is still available.
